The FSU College of Social Work is looking for an Events & Marketing Assistant to work Expected 10-15 hours per week for Summer 2019. Possible duties including assistance with tabling events along with event set-up, planning, and breakdown. The position will include planning, designing and executing social media marketing and content on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, Flickr. There will also be many opportunities to write and edit articles and to plan the College newsletter.
Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must be dependable. Must have good writing skills.
Experience or interest in design, art, and/or writing.
We are looking for a student who is interested in gaining skills in higher education events and marketing that is energetic, professional and interested in working independently and collaboratively with our marketing and events team at the College of Social Work. The student will be interacting on a regular basis with college
faculty, students, staff, alumni and the general public. Excellent interpersonal and writing skills are a must.
A Resume is required.
Must have the ability to work for 2+ hours at a time. Primary hours during office hours (8am-5pm.) May have the option to work outside of office hours to help with events. There is also an option to carry this position over into Fall 2019.
