Elise Thompson Awarded The Maple Terrace Artist Residency Program

FSU Art MFA ’16 Elise Thompson will be the first Resident Artist at The Maple Terrace Artist Residency program October 24 – December 5 2017.

The Maple Terrace Artist Residency Program provides emerging artists the opportunity to have an affordable and inspiring place to live and make work in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to studio visits with our Guests of Honor (influential artists, curators, gallerists, and collectors) Resident Artists will also be mentored by the foundation’s founder, Leah Guadagnoli.

During this time, Thompson will receive studio visits by the following Guests of Honor: Ina Babaeva, Jerry Blackman, Gaby Collins-Fernandez, Matthew Higgs, Ridley Howard, Tyler Lafreniere, Aliza Morell, Jacob Rhodes, Sara Maria Salamone, Jennifer Simmons, and Wendy White.
