The School of Theatre, by arrangement with Derek Glynne, presents the Mermaid Theatre’s COLE.
An entertainment based on the words and music of Cole Porter.

“Anything Goes” at the 2013 Benefit Concert as the School of Theatre at Florida State University presents Cole, a musical romp through the works of the illustrious composer, Cole Porter.  Broadway-star and Tallahassee-legend, Davis Gaines (Phantom of the OperaHello Dollyand Camelot) returns to serenade audiences with the great-American standards of one of the 20th century’s most influential composers. Joining him on-stage will be fellow FSU Music Theatre Alumni Jessica Lea Patty (EvitaThe Addams Familyand 9 to 5: The Musical). “Night and Day,” “What is this Thing Called Love” and “Why Can’t You Behave?” are just some of the classics that are sure to delight audiences. This “De-lovely” event’s proceeds support the students at The School of Theatre of Florida State.

“Let’s Misbehave” together on December 14 at 7:30pm in the Fallon Theatre.  For those who “Get their kicks from Champagne,” a special reception with Gaines, Patty, and the cast will happen on-stage following the performance.
