FAR 3D printing technician Windham Graves recently spoke with representatives from the Florida State University Learning Systems Institute CPALMS project. CPALMS is the official source for K-12 education standards and course information in Florida. Graves participated in a “Perspective Video” – one of may tools they provide for educators to build and share resources to support standards-driven instruction in mathematics, science and reading/language arts. Graves’ video is intended to help students understand real-world and mathematical problems involving area, volume and surface area of two- and three-dimensional objects composed of triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, cubes, and right prisms.
