Cool Gal Blue Seeks Digital Design Intern

Published April 7, 2014

FSU Alum is seeking an intern for the Digital Design Intern, AKA “Designer of Cook Funk”.

Cool Gal Blue is a FSU alum start-up looking to give the middle finger to the fashion industry. We believe that young women sizes 14 and up should have funky, confident clothing, and we’re going to give it to them — no matter what the editor of Vogue says. In other words, this is not Lane Bryant.

We’re looking for a digital design intern who is ready to unleash big-time creative ideas that resonate with our target audience and move the business forward. This company will be about digital art as much as it is about fashion. We want people who are self-led and self-motivated, who take this internship and this company personally. There’s no “that’s not my job” here. Show us that you are really into Cool Gal Blue, and we will be really into you.Requirements/Deadlines:You can work from anywhere (it’s a “telecommute” position), and your projects will include:

• Oversee the visual plan of several campaigns, then manage the look of those campaigns through final completion. This would include making the shot list for photography shoots, creating Facebook banners and images, homepage slider images, email marketing images, and other assets.
• Design the email marketing template in MailChimp.
• Manage the product image photography assets and archives.
• Troubleshoot imaging problems and introduce solutions.

If you are ready to show the world what you can do, to really be creative and professional and accomplished, give Michelle Crawford a shout at mcrawford@coolgalblue.com.
