Brad Blair’s Upcoming Solo Exhibition “Unknown, Uncertain and Unexplained” in Frederick, MD

Published October 12, 2017

FSU Art MFA ’14 Brad Blair’s next solo exhibition titled, “Unknown, Uncertain and Unexplained” will be held at the Delaplaine Arts Center located in Frederick, MD. This exhibition will highlight Blair’s newest wall hanging and pedestal bound ceramic sculptures. These pieces are a continuation of his current body of work filled with otherworldly creations that force the viewer to question what they are observing. Blair continues to push the limits in clay by adding mixed media elements within his sculptures that create interest and life-like qualities that the clay cannot offer on its own. This exhibition will run from November 4th- December 22nd, with an opening reception on Saturday, November 4th, from 3-5PM.

“Housed in the 100-year-old Mountain City Mill on the banks of Carroll Creek in historic downtown Frederick, MD, The Delaplaine Arts Center has been serving the community since 1986. This vibrantly active nonprofit organization welcomes over 80,000 visitors each year to the 40,000 square foot flagship of the arts. It is the only arts organization to have been certified under the Standards for Excellence in Nonprofit Management by the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations.”
