A bio for Florida State University alumna Marium Rana (BFA ’14) has been included in ArtsLink, a national publication, for Americans for the Arts Fall/Winter 2016. The article in which it is included highlights an art exhibition at the Irving Arts Center in Irving, TX and its role in fighting Islamophobia.

Her piece chosen for the 5th Annual Juried Exhibition of Islamic Art is part of a series, A Place to Call Home, which delves into the complexity of belonging to two different cultures and trying to make a home out of stories of places and moments one has not personally experienced.
