This Sunday is the Capital City’s National Children’s Day Celebration.
This is an event that brings community, organizations, family and the City of Tallahassee together for a day of celebrating children on National Children’s Day, which America recognizes on June 9th!
The Florida State University’s Department of Art has a number of generous students who have been collaborating on a project to expose art to children. Many of these children might not have much access to visual learning. They will be running these projects this Sunday, June 9th in Cascades Park next to the amphitheater from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Join in the fun and celebrate children grades Kindergarten-12th grade as we partner with Leon County Public Schools, COCA, Leon County Police Department, Florida State University Department of Art, FAMU STEM, TCC STEM, Tallahassee Nights Live and many, many more to bring the Children of Tallahassee five fun-filled, educational engagement areas, live entertainment and much, much more!
Admission is FREE, so spread the word! Let’s celebrate our children Capital City!
