Art Faculty Dietrick & Mundy’s Installation Recognized in Washington Post

Published January 11, 2013

“Grid, Sequence Me”, Owen Mundy and Joelle Dietrick.

The College of Visual Arts, Theatre and Dance wishes to congratulate our very own Faculty members from the Department of Art, Owen Mundy and Joelle Dietrick, who were featured today in The Washington Post online.

The pair created a powerful animation titled Grid, Sequence Me which visually represents information on Washington’s population and recent home purchases.

“… she and Mundy fragmented and remixed the files, distancing their images from the originals in the same way that lenders rebundled and separated mortgages from buyers.”

– Maura Judkis, The Washington Post
