In recognition of Black History Month, The Apalachicola African American Art, History and Culture Association is sponsoring an art exhibition. All interested artists are welcome to participate in creating art of their choice. It can have an ethnic theme, but it is not required for your participation. We ask you to create what inspires you, the artist. We will not receive any proceeds from this sale; however, the Gallery’s normal payment is 60% to the artists and 40% to the gallery. The opening exhibition will be Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Apalachicola Center for History, Culture and Art on 86 Water St in Apalachicola, FL 32320.
Visual Art must be framed and ready to present to the public, on the walls of the gallery. Members of the Arts and Crafts community should have their work ready for display on the walls, pedestals, shelves, tables and flooring in the gallery. We are requesting all artwork be turned into the Apalachicola Center for History, Culture and Art, 86 Water Street, Apalachicola, FL between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on January 31, 2018.
