Published April 6, 2018

FSU Art MFA 14′ Brad Blair was recently accepted into Barrett Art Center’s “Fun House” juried exhibition located in Poughkeepsie, NY. His sculpture titled, “Signaled to Consume” was one of 75 works selected from 960 entries by jurors Danijela Purssey, co-founder and editor of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, and Istvan Banyai, illustrator, animator, and designer. The exhibition runs from May 12th to June 23rd, 2018 with an opening reception on Saturday, May 12th, from 3-6 PM.

Fun House: Art of the Surreal, Fantastic and Bizarre is a national juried art exhibition. Fun House invites artwork submissions that celebrate all that a Fun House offers: the marvelous, disorienting, seductive, disquieting, and surreal. Fun House seeks works that engage with the real/unreal, the miniature and the gigantic, optics and illusion, and/or the politics of display. Fun House welcomes the quirky, the absurd and the unconventional.
