MoFA Participates in Big Bend Quilt Trail

This Fall, the Museum of Fine Arts will feature a painted “quilt” square in our courtyard, one of many on the Big Bend Quilt Trail. This project, coordinated by the Gadsden Art Center, will showcase numerous quilt inspired murals on display throughout our community. Based on Barn Quilts – large, colorful, geometric designs painted on the side of barns – these works will be part of a self-guided tour that will accompany the Gadsden Art Center’s exhibition From the Cedar Chest: Generations of Southern Quilting.
