FSU Art Advanced Ceramics Students at First Friday Railroad Square


Three social practice events will be taking place this First Friday, Nov 7th, at Railroad Square and close environs by the students in the Advanced Ceramics class in the Department of Art this fall.


Lilian Garcia-Roig and Mark Messersmith Exhibiting in Driptorch, Organized by John Gleason

Organized by Thomasville-based artist John Gleason, Driptorch is an independent project conceived to coincide with and compliment the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival, a time-honored Thomasville tradition that celebrates wildlife and plantation sporting art.

Garcia-Roig & Messersmith in Dallas

FSU Art Professors Lilian Garcia-Roig & Mark Messersmith are both included in “MAC@20 Part II – Twentieth Anniversary” which will showcase solo exhibiting artists from 2004 through 2013. The exhibition opens Nov. 8 and will run through Dec. 20.

On October 17th, 2014, Florida State University’s Billion Dollar Campaign Kick-Off event took place at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. This prestigious gala marked the beginning of the second half of the campaign to raise a billion dollars. One thousand guests were invited to the exciting event.
